Friends of the Harte Trail We’re back for another tree planting event! We’re hoping you’ll come join us in making our community a better place for all. Friends of the Harte Trail and the City of Winnipeg have a goal of planting 200 trees this fall on the trail. Thank you to the Jewish National Fund for sponsoring our event this season! Help us plant trees along the Harte Trail Contribute to the beautification of our community & trail Make a positive impact on the environment Event Highlights: Learn how to plant trees and their importance from a qualified specialist Get out with the family and participate in tree planting along the trail Making the trail better and meeting other members of your community No prior experience required. Tools and equipment will be provided. We encourage everyone to use the trail to get to the plant site - walk or bike with your friends and family! If you're unable, and driving is a must, parking is available on Elmhurst, Cathcart or Ridgewood.
